Nevaeh
by
Paulette Harper
Genre:
Children’s Picture Book

Six
year old Nevaeh wants to be something she already is —a princess.
Do you know a little girl that doesn’t know she is loved or even
beautiful? Do we as parents, grandparents, or guardians reinforce and
give our little ones daily affirmation? Princess Nevaeh, Lessons on
Self-Discovery covers topics that are important not only to parents
but also to our little girls.

Find
out how Mimi shares with her granddaughter the things that matter
most. Some of the topics discussed in this book are:

Teaching
behavioral skills: fighting, bullying, listening, and
obeying.

Reinforces
manners.

Teaches
self-worth and values.

Princess
Nevaeh, Lessons on Self-Discovery allows caregivers to use this as a
tool to affirm the child, build positive dialogue and to encourage
self-worth.

My Review:

Nevae is a little girl who wants to be a princess. She goes to her grandmother and asks her what she needs to do to become a princess. Her grandmother tells her some things that will make her a better person and a princess. Bullying it isn’t a princess-like attribute, nor is name calling and being mean.

The book is colorful and entertaining to children from two years old and up. It is an easy read and well done. It will become a favorite for your little girls who dream of being a princess. It has good principles and morals.

The Boy That Grew Teeth In His Ear

Sunday, February 7th, 2016

What makes you passionate about writing?

My passion for writing derives from life experiences and the events that have stuck in my mind.

roni kennedy

Do you have a writing routine?

No, not at this time, but would like to say evenings and early mornings are good when there is not a lot of noise and I have time to think.

What is the title of your book?

The Boy That Grew Teeth In His Ear

What genre does your book fall under?

Children’s Picture Book

So you are an artist too. Are you taking new clients?

I am always up for more work and a challenge.

Can we buy your drawings one by one or do we have to buy a set?

You can buy them anyway you would like.

How do you charge for drawings, by inch, square feet or what?

I would probably charge by the page. I am pretty quick at the sketches; the computer part of coloring them in may take some time. I would say anywhere from $40 to $95 per page. A lot would depend on what the author is looking for in their books.

Where can we find more about your work?

I have my own sign shop. You can go to my website at http://www.ronissigns.com or go to my Facebook page Roni Kennedy and look and review some of my work. There are not many sketches but I have an accredited art degree from The Antonelli School of Arts in Cincinnati, Ohio. I graduated in 1975 and The Good Lord has told us to develop our talents so I have! Thank You!

You are welcome. What is the one-sentence synopsis of your book?

Don’t Be A Bully

Is your book self-published or represented by an agency?

It is published through Idea Creations Press.

How long did it take you to write the first draft of your manuscript?

It took two days to write and two weeks to illustrate.

What other books would you compare this story to within your genre?

I would probably compare the story to LDS church manuals that they teach in Primary, only mine giving the information about bullying in a story way; don’t be mean and hurtful to others. Be a Christian and be kind.

Who or What inspired you to write this book?

First my mother and second my enemies and those that have either bullied me in some way or have been rude and disrespectful.

What else about your book might pique the reader’s interest?

The colorful illustrations are eye catching and portray the events very well.

Where can we find your book?

Amazon.com, http://www.amazon.com/Boy-That-Grew-Teeth-His/dp/0996665730/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1452703788&sr=8-1&keywords=the+boy+that+grew+teeth+in+his+ear, soon to be on Barnes & Noble and more.

The Gilded Butterfly by B.M. Song  ***** readers favorite review

The Gilded Butterfly by B. M. Song is the cutest little story I have seen for awhile. It is a book to be read on mom’s lap to her small children. This cutely written story can be used to teach small children about God and his loves for His creations. It is well done with age level appropriate words and great characters to like.

All is hushed in the forest as the inhabitants await the birth of a special being. Finally the newcomer wakes and stretches forth her colorful wings to the awe of those around her. Many wish that they could be as beautiful as she and wish her happiness. (more…)
