Their hope is that she will slowly be able to jog his memory and cushion the blow

When
Time Stands Still
by
Sara Furlong-Burr
Genre:
Romance

It’s
been nearly a decade since Elle Sloan last saw Luke Hutchins. Close
to ten years since she broke up with him over a single phone call,
providing him with little explanation. Since the end of their
relationship, Elle has done everything she could do to move on,
marrying, proceeding forward with her life, almost allowing herself
to completely forget about Luke.

Almost.

Out
of nowhere, Elle receives a phone call from Luke’s mother. Luke has
been in a horrific car accident and, a month later, has just awoken
from a coma. However, instead of celebrating, his family is stunned
to learn that Luke is suffering from amnesia and only remembers his
life as it was before his breakup with Elle. Not wanting to tell Luke
that he and Elle aren’t together anymore for fear it may compromise
his recovery, Elle is asked by Luke’s family to come to the
hospital to see him. Their hope is that she will slowly be able to
jog his memory and cushion the blow.

Guilt-ridden
over how their relationship ended, Elle readily agrees, finding
herself transported back in time with Luke to the life they once
shared and the future they could have had together.

Wild
Sparks Series #1
by
Ren Alexander
Genre:
Contemporary Romance

Throwing
down the marriage gauntlet has never been so wild.

Thirty-something
paralegal, Hadley Beckett and charismatic, local
sportscaster/daredevil, Finn Wilder, disagree about how they should
share their lives together. Having been together for three years,
Finn increasingly pressures Hadley to move in with him, but being
unusually traditional, she wants to be married first, adhering to her
moral beliefs, just as he clings to his own religious upbringing when
it comes to procreating with her. Each is unwilling to negotiate or
concede marriage to the other. Complicating matters is Finn’s
seemingly double life, keeping his private life hidden to the point
of convincing his viewers—Finnatics—and even his coworkers, he’s
single, amid Hadley’s objections. Yet despite their immense
disparities, they are determined to make their relationship work,
even if it means Hadley has to take their future into her own hands.
Then
again, Finn Wilder has his own story to tell.

Brooke
Moss

writes complex, character-driven stories about kismet, reunited
lovers, first love, and the kind of romance that we should all have
the chance at finding. She prefers her stories laced with some humor
just for fun, and enough drama to keep her readers flipping the
pages, and begging for more!

When
Brooke isn’t spinning tales, she spends her time drawing/cartooning,
reading, watching movies then comparing them to books, and, of
course, wrangling five kids, mugging on her hubby she lovingly refers
to as her “nerd”, and attempting to conquer the Mount
Everest of laundry that is the bane of her existence.

Love
I
am a Michigan native, who up until recently lived in the Metro
Detroit area, where crime and corruption always seem to be at the top
of everyone’s news. So there’s always the chance to find something
that can trigger a story idea and enough interesting characters to
jump start your imagination.

While
I have worked in many industries and career paths over the years, one
of my passions has always been writing. I was even able to parlay
that passion for a while, working as a freelance reporter for a
couple of newspapers in the Detroit area. Writing features and hard
news helped me hone my talents. But while newspaper work was
interesting and paid a few bills, it was a far cry from the fiction
writing that I enjoy the most.

I’ve
always been drawn to mysteries and thrillers, the kind of stories
that have a fast pace, that keep you moving and keep you guessing as
to what’s going to take place next. Mix those in with some elements
of crime, perhaps a glimpse of the seedier side and you’ve got me. So
it’s always been one of my goals to write stories like
that.

turned to scribbling her musings and wrote her first novel while in

I
was born in Colorado Springs, CO as an Army Brat. I have lived all
across this country but unfortunately I don’t remember most of it
(hate that). What I do remember is growing up in Detroit and Highland
Park, Michigan, playing in my grandmother’s basement that was filled
with books my family bought for me and my sister, pretending to be a
singer, a news anchorwoman, and a writer. Of these, reading and
writing stuck.

When
I was still very young I moved to Arkansas with my father and sister
and have thus lived here for most of my life. I graduated from
Jacksonville High in Jacksonville, AR. I got my BBA from Philander
Smith College and my MSM from Kaplan Online University. And I have
spent the last 10 years working for the State of Arkansas. Yet all I
really wanted to do was have reasons to read and write. But not only
did I want to write, I wanted to share my writing with the world.

I
have not been more proud of a completed goal as I am of being able to
share #MeBeingMe with you. This story is inspired by my oldest son
(and my own) experiences with challenges, change, and middle school
(sometimes it really does suck).

I
still live in Arkansas with my three sons and our dog, Barker. I am
still finding every available minute to read, write, and share it
with the world.

DESPERATE
BRIDE
by
A.S. Fenichel

Genre: Historical Romance

Pub
Date: 9/26/2017

An
unexpected promise . . . an everlasting passion.
An
accomplished musician, Dorothea Flammel has refused more proposals
than any London debutante; her only true love is her music. Dory’s
shimmering talent and beauty have long been adored from afar by
Thomas Wheel, an untitled gentleman who can only dream of asking for
the hand of a nobleman’s daughter. But when her father, the
insolvent Lord Flammel, arranges for Dory to marry a lecherous Earl
in order to pay off a debt, she runs to Thomas—and proposes
marriage to him.
Eloping
to Scotland saves Dory from a disastrous fate, but what is for her a
mere marriage of convenience proves more passionate—and more
complex—than either imagined as rumors, scandal, and buried
emotions come to light. And when a vengeful challenge from a drunken
and embittered Lord Flammel puts Thomas’s life on the line, will
the fragile trust between husband and wife be enough to save them
both?

A.S.
Fenichel
adores
writing stories filled with love, passion, desire, magic and maybe a
little mayhem tossed in for good measure. Books have always been her
perfect escape and she still relishes diving into one and staying up
all night to finish a good story. Originally from New York, she grew
up in New Jersey. She now lives in the southwest with her real life
hero, her wonderful husband. When she is not reading or writing she
enjoys cooking, travel, history and puttering in her garden.

An
inconvenient engagement turns a marriage of convenience into so much
more in this sparkling new series from award-winning author Sara

Emmaline Shaw’s reputation was irreparably damaged when her fiancé,
John Brantwood, disappeared immediately after their engagement four
years ago. Since then, she’s grown from a shy, uncertain girl to a
woman who knows her own mind. And what she knows is that London
society holds nothing for her.
Rumor
has it that John ran off to war and died in battle. Now, as the new
Duke of Worley, his shocking resurrection throws the ton into a tizzy
and makes him one of England’s most sought after bachelors—except
that he’s already engaged.
John
needs a wife capable of smoothing his beloved sister’s introduction
into society. But though Emma happily grants him his freedom, her
fiery beauty and resilient spirit hold him captive. In fact, John has
no intention of letting her go. Her fate is now in his hands, but

LADY
BE GOOD
by
Heather Hiestand
Genre: Historical Romance
Pub
Date: 9/5/2017

When
exiled royalty and espionage combine, expect a romance as bold as the
1920s . . .
Olga
Novikov is a princess without a throne. Her fiancé and her family
slain in the revolution, she flees Russia and finds herself working
as the head of housekeeping at London’s luxurious Grand Russe
Hotel. It’s a far cry from the glamour of her former life, but
she’s grateful for the job—until a guest forces her to question
where her loyalty lies. The charming nobleman challenges her at every
turn—and arouses dreams of romance she thought she’d abandoned
forever . . .
Douglas
“Glass” Childers is living a double life. On the surface, he’s
the indolent Viscount Walling, but in truth he’s an intelligence
agent searching for a Bolshevik weapons master. The coolly beautiful
and headstrong housekeeper is a distraction he doesn’t need—unless
she’s the key piece in the puzzle he must solve. Trusting her could
be dangerous—but loving her is an undeniable temptation . . .

Heather
Hiestand was born in Illinois but her family migrated west before she
started school. Since then she has claimed Washington State as home,
except for a few years in California. She wrote her first story at
age seven and went on to major in creative writing at the University
of Washington. Her first published fiction was a mystery short story,
but since then it has been all about the many flavors of romance.
Heather’s first published romance short story was set in the
Victorian period and she continues to return, fascinated by the rapid
changes of the nineteenth century. The author of many novels,
novellas and short stories, she makes her home in a small town with
her husband and son and supposedly works out of her tiny office,
though she mostly writes in her easy chair in the living room.

He is obnoxious, horrible, ridiculously charming, and insanely hot

Don’t
Let Him Go
I
Want Morrison Book 1
by
Kay Harris
Genre:
Contemporary Romance

When
a strict and careful corporate lawyer collides with a laid-back,
risk-taking activist they find an unexpected, unexplainable, and
possibly, an unemployment-risking kind of love.

Candace
Gleason is making all of her dreams come true. She passed the bar,
landed a great job, and is making a killer salary as a corporate
attorney. Everything seems to be working out perfectly. That is until
she’s assigned to keep the boss’s petulant son out of
trouble.

Jack
Morrison is the rebellious black sheep of a mighty real estate
family. He runs a non-profit whose mission is to save poor people
from evil corporations, like the one his own family owns. He is
obnoxious, horrible, ridiculously charming, and insanely hot. He is
the bane of Candace’s very existence.

Candace
has more to worry about than just keeping Jack from chaining himself
to bulldozers, though. She has to keep him from locking up her heart,
too.

This
contemporary romance has a touch of sweet, a little-bit sexy, and a
whole lot of fun. It does not have a cliffhanger and contains a
perfect HEA!

Don’t
Let Him Go’ is part of the three-book series ‘I Want Morrison.’
Each book in the series deals with a different Morrison sibling and
each can be read as a stand-alone.

I
am a college professor, former park ranger, and anthropologist.
People observation is in my blood. I write contemporary romance
novels that emphasize character development and dialogue.
The situations my characters find themselves in might not be
everyday, but they
could happen.
I
have always loved romance novels of all kinds, and I’ve been writing
love stories since I was kid. It wasn’t until I was approaching a
very significant birthday that that I decided to write down some of
those stories in full length novels.
The Love
on Tour series
is
a coming together of my love of romance and my love of rock n’ roll.
In particular I am a fan of classic rock (which might be obvious if
you read my books). The titles of the books in the series are
actually the song titles from one particular artist. If you can guess
which singer/songwriter it is you get a gold star!
I grew
up in Michigan, have since lived all over the west, including
Montana, Wyoming, Utah, Arizona, California, and Nevada. I love to
hike, am obsessed with museums, and take my 6’5 husband on
‘adventures’ all over the West.

Princess Vanessa of Atlantica, the ambitious young royal was one of

magic, and combat to become a leader worthy of her people.

I recall the winter of my first grade year, basking in the heat from our fireplace in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Dad read aloud Madeline L’Engle’s A WRINKLE IN TIME and Mom peeled orange segments for us to enjoy. That was the definitive moment I fell in love with fiction.

I write frequent articles (or view recent posts easily on my Home Page, scroll down) about the nineteenth century American West–every subject of possible interest to readers, amateur
historians, authors…as all of these tidbits surfaced while researching for my books. I also blog monthly at

His worst mistake was letting her go.
His second-worst mistake? Bringing her home.

No one will ever know how badly Pleasance
Benton’s abandonment threw Jacob Gideon. He landed hard, hard enough he didn’t care to find a replacement. Now that he needs a woman, he figures the safest
way is to order one from a catalog.

Pleasance is back to reclaim her rightful
place at Jacob’s side. One way or another she’ll remind him theirs is a match made in heaven…once the shock wears off. The teensy-weensy problem? Jacob doesn’t know that she—
his first love—is
his catalog bride.

Snippet #1

Jacob had been a man of twenty-three when last
she’d seen him.
He’d…grown.

Broader, taller, his features more defined,
the power in his lean body evident in every pacing step.

No, the man didn’t pace. He prowled. Stalked.
And collided with her—

Not physically. Just the same, his attention
snared and she was caught. A rabbit in his trap.

Every time she anticipated this reunion, she’d
known precisely how he’d respond—how could she not? She’d known him forever.
In these many rehearsals, he’d taken her
elbow, ever the gentleman, and escorted her away from the crowded platform.
He’d never been one to make a scene or cause a lady a moment’s discomfort.

In rehearsal, he’d searched her face for answers,
with hope, surprise, and joy in his eyes. She’d open her reticule, remove the
bundle of letters he’d penned over the past year, tied neatly with blue ribbon
the exact shade as her gown—
Jacob tensed. A mountain lion, ready to
pounce.

She’d anticipated cranky—she could deal with
cranky. Fury collided with incredulity on his features, hardening his handsome
face to granite.
He’d identified her. Instant and undeniable
recognition.
He wasn’t looking left or right, making sure
she was the blue dress and the blue bonnet, as promised by mail.

He focused wholly on her, as if she were the
only woman in the world.
Her heart leapt with remembered joy and a love
so strong, so poignant, she smiled. A soft smile, just for him. Without meaning
to, utterly unscripted, she took a step toward him. He looked…wonderful.
He whirled about and strode…away?

          Directly
to the hitching post. Without so much as a by your leave, he swung into the
saddle, and with the ease of the accomplished horseman he was, nudged the bay
into a canter.

What is True Death?

Sunday, July 12th, 2015

I began writing in high school after my family moved to Chicago from Michigan, leaving behind the first girl I fell for. I lost touch with her and knew she enjoyed reading books, so I decided that I would write a book and get her attention. At the time I wasn’t big into reading, in fact I had only finished one book series in my life to that point, but once I started writing I realized how much fun it was to create whole new worlds and watch the story play itself out on the pages. That girl and I have parted ways but I still thank her for allowing me to find my passion in life.

What makes me passionate about writing is being a creator to a world that never existed before I thought of them. To watch the story play out from my head to the paper and ink, its a feeling that is hard to describe. With True Despair, the third book in the True Death series I have written, I watched a scene play out differently on the pages them it did in my head, it was amazing. Seeing my story take on (more…)
