Runes
Series Book 1
by
Ednah Walters
Genre:
YA Fantasy, Paranormal Romance

Seventeen-year-old
Raine Cooper has enough on her plate dealing with her father’s
disappearance, her mother’s erratic behavior and the possibility of
her boyfriend relocating. The last thing she needs is Torin St.
James—a mysterious new neighbor with a wicked smile and uncanny way
of reading her.
Raine
is drawn to Torin’s dark sexiness against her better judgment,
until he saves her life with weird marks and she realizes he is
different. But by healing her, Torin changes something inside Raine.
Now she can’t stop thinking about him. Half the time, she’s not
sure whether to fall into his arms or run.
Scared,
she sets out to find out what Torin is. But the closer she gets to
the truth the more she uncovers something sinister about him. What
Torin is goes back to an ancient mythology and Raine is somehow part
of it. Not only is she and her friends in danger, she must choose a
side, but the wrong choice will cost Raine her life.

In Disenchanted, Sophie’s quirky Aunt Janie is a witch with clairvoyant abilities–she can see the future in exotic tea leaves and special fortunetelling cards. Her talent was inspired by my mother’s clairvoyant gift. My first experience with her sixth sense was when I was five-years-old and she saw in my tea leaves that I would (more…)

Hi, Meira. Welcome to my blog.

Hello, Anna. Thank you for interviewing me today.

Tell us where you were born and where do you live now.

I grew up in Seattle, but I’ve been in Colorado for twenty-two years. Although I love the Pacific Northwest, I wouldn’t give up the Colorado sun.

I love Seattle, but wouldn’t leave there. How long did it take you to write the first draft of your manuscript?

I wrote the first draft of Sarah and the Magic Mayonnaise Jar (more…)

The Futhark Chronicles Volume One

Author: Susan Gourley

Fantasy

Young Adult and Adult

Susan’s first debut in the fantasy genre is a five star effort. I immensely enjoyed the characters and the world she had created. It is without a doubt a page-turner, a well-written book full of surprises.

It is the story of a young man, Cage, who has taken the responsibility of protecting a woman and her daughter, Kristall. After her husband died drunk, Anadalune raised Cage as his own mother when his real mother wanted (more…)
