Adrienne, thanks for visiting my blog today. Tell us where you were born and where you live now?
Nice…What makes you passionate about writing?
It’s probably because I’m so passionate about reading. Books keep us company when no one else can. They’re also a window into other lives and worlds. How can I not love books and creating my own stories?
Amen to that. How long did it take you to write the first draft of your manuscript?
Probably a year for Dissension. For Defiance, it took me four months to complete the first draft.
Very good. Who or What inspired you to write this book?

Just myself. As stated, I love books. The more I read, the more vivid my imagination became. Once I became a stay-at-home-mom, I had the time to take the stories from my head and put them to paper.
Great point. What is the title of your book?
Can’t wait for the second one. Could you give us a back cover blurb?
Fists are pumping, bodies gyrating, sweat dripping—booming music drowns out all other noise in the dark club. Leisha, dressed in skimpy, revealing clothes, eyes her victim. As soon as he sets eyes on her, she knows he’s hers. He becomes excited as despicable thoughts of murder run through his mind, all readable by Leisha’s abnormal senses. After a bit of small talk, they are soon both out the door, Leisha pushed against the wall. The man pulls out a knife, ready to cut up this beautiful woman. Leisha smiles as she deflects the knife and bites into his neck, sucking every ounce of life from this abominable man.
It wasn’t always this way.
Leisha was once a loving mother with an ideal family. Though this was over two thousand years ago, Leisha still holds that time dear to her heart. But for now, she must focus on trying to escape the eternal and bloody war between her kind—the Vampires—and the Immortals, an undying race sworn to destroy her people. Soon, Leisha finds herself captured by the government only to be saved by a young and mysterious human girl. What entails is the beginning of a long and torturous journey as Leisha and her newfound friend run for their lives while searching for the one thing that can end it all—the prophecy child.
Wow, so intense. What genre does your book fall under?

New Adult Urban Fantasy
Awesome. Do you have a favorite character, why?
Rinwa would probably be my favorite. I think I relate to her the most out of all the other characters. I also make snarky comments and don’t like people seeing my vulnerable side. 😉
🙂 What kind of impact do you expect your works to have in the reader’s lives?
To entertain, first and foremost! I want them to be able to get lost in the vampire/immortal world and enjoy the characters. Just like what I want when I sit down to read a book.
Good for you. What else might pique the reader’s interest in your book?
The vampires in this book are unique from other vampire literature. Dissension explains how vampires came into existence in the first place, but the reader doesn’t discover all the details until book 3, Deliverance.
