Amelia Moore, the founder of the Moore Detective Agency, specializes in missing persons. Her cases have taken her to some very interesting places and put her in some dangerous situations, but she always solves the case. With the help of Rick Bonito, her sometime partner, her business is flourishing. When Mrs. Brody hires Amelia and Rick to find her missing brother, they find themselves in Bali, Indonesia. They are mystified why her brother quit his job, put his home up for sale, and ran off to this mysterious and exotic island without telling a soul.
THE BALI MYSTERY Amelia Moore was a ride that I enjoy a lot. It has good characters and real locations that embellish the story quit well. The characters are fun and likable.
The feisty detective Amelia Moore is up to her ears with people telling her to leave William alone. The problem is that he is the one she needs to find. Still why would a forty something man leave in the middle of the night, quit his job and don’t tell his sister where he is going. Could it be that he is having a midlife crises? And who is Zarqo? And why there are people chasing them?
Now she needs to leave the country and ask Rick a very talented investigator to help her with this case. She has work with him in other cases and they are friends but she didn’t expect that to change in this lifetime. So when they found themselves in the most romantic island in the world, she worries that his protective ways could mess up the case.
A great mystery for young adults and adults who like clean mystery books with a bit of romance. A great story to keep you entertain on a lazy day of summer or a cool winter night. Nice job.
