Ranee, how long have you been writing?
 
I think since I could pick up a pencil. I used to write four and five page stories and then link them all in a series. I had notebook and notebooks full of my scribbles. (Now I just have lots of documents on my computer!)
 
LOL, tell us where you were born and where do you live now.
 
I was born in a tiny town in Wyoming called Lovell. Right now, my family is on an adventure! We are living in Fairbanks, Alaska for a few years. (Today it’s almost negative forty degrees! Brrr.)
 
Wow, that is cold. How do you know the idea is good enough to write a book about it? (more…)

The Practical Joke by Elisabeth Lynton a review for readers favorite

Here we have a very inventive Christmas book for elementary age children. It will entertain them and make them wish they too could save Christmas and be heroes for a year. I enjoyed this story and plot and so will your kids. It is a very creative and interesting story of how two kids save Christmas and in the process become a family.

The Santa Exclusive by Brent Boswell and Interview

Brent how fun to meet you. Tell us what is your typical day like?

I start by feeding the cows. Then I try to get some work done, and then cap the whole day off by feeding more cows. It’s all very glamorous, really.

A cowboy, how awesome. I like cowboys…I married one. Do you write with music or not?

I don’t write with music, although I wish I could. I know Stephenie Meyer gets her muse on while listening to Muse, but I enjoy music almost as much as writing, so having tunes in the background ends up being more of a distraction than a help.

Sometime for me too. Do you outline your manuscript first?
