Q. Welcome Joyce, what is your typical day like?

A. I try to accomplish all my mundane chores, like cleaning house, running errands, etc, by 3- 4 PM. My goal is to begin my daily writing routine between 3:30-4:30 PM and work through the evening and night, with breaks for dinner and stretching, until about 10:30 PM.

Q. Sound great. Do you write with music or not?

A. No, no music, no TV. I write best in total silence. (The better to hear all those voices in my head. J )

1) Yves, tell us where you were born:
I was born at the Moncton hospital in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada. I have lived most of my life in this area and I still do.

2) New Brunswick, a very inspiring name. I could come up with a story with the name alone. 🙂  Who or What inspired you to write this book?

16 Tips to promote your book—before and during launch

1. Send out free PDFs, or ebooks, to bloggers who have tons of followers. If your book is non-fiction, send out digital copies to influential journalists. Ask the bloggers a review it in their blogs.

(Some bloggers or reviewers need a month to read the book. Always ask way beforehand.

2. Pull out excerpts of the book to use as articles. Post them on free sites.

3. Create videos. Keep it short and sweet (under 10 m.)  (more…)
