Jason, how long have you been writing?

Since I was a little kid. I’ve attached a picture of my first ever book.  “Rorbots” circa 1986. Ha ha.


Tell us where you were born and where do you live now.

I was born and raised in Salt Lake City, and I still live here. Though I did serve an LDS mission in North Carolina and like to travel.

How do you know the idea is good enough to write a book about it?

I don’t. At least not until I’ve dissected it, and sometimes not until after I’ve started writing the book.

Merri  what is the name of your new book?


The name of my book is Indigo Traveler

Interesting. What genre does your book fall under?

It is a fantasy. I prefer to call it a Spiritual Fantasy because my characters are seeking to find the spirit within themselves as well as the spiritual outside of them. In turn, they are encouraged to see the spirit within others. It doesn’t prescribe to any one faith, but an universal spiritual perspective which I hope others will be able to relate to.
