Fury 1.5
by
AE Faulkner
Genre:
YA Dystopian

With the life she
knew all but gone, Riley must decide if she’ll let the road ahead
break her spirit or bolster her drive.
When her sister’s
safety is threatened, Riley discovers just how far she will go to
protect Quinn. No matter the toll – emotionally and physically.
With little faith in returning to the only family she has left, Riley
follows the path that she believes is her only choice. Relying on
others to lead the way, she is forced to face some of her deepest
fears.

NOTE: You must
have read Darkness Falls in order to understand Anguish Unfolds.
Although I recommend you read Anguish Unfolds before diving into book
2 in the series (Chaos Ensues, coming in 2020), it is not necessary.

Faulkner is a young adult dystopian author. Her debut novel, Darkness
Falls, is the first book in the Nature’s Fury series, which explores
the Earth’s response to humans poisoning her streams, abusing her
animals and destroying her beauty.

She
has a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Millersville University
and a master’s degree in advertising, public relations &
journalism from Temple University.

Although
she escaped in books as a child, college textbooks sucked the fun out
of reading. Years later, The Hunger Games trilogy became the spark
that rekindled her love of books. After devouring that series, she
quickly became captivated by dystopian novels.

After
several years of reading them, she decided to take a stab at writing
one that combined her love for nature with her fear of human
destruction

McFarland has a Master of Arts in Journalism from Indiana University,
which launched her on a short-lived but very exciting career as a
newspaper reporter. After graduate school, she worked for five
different newspapers around the country, writing about politics,
crime, arts, environmental issues, crack addicts, prostitutes, and
parades. She eventually wised up and decided that making up political
fights and crime scenes would be a lot more fun than reporting on
real ones. Today, she lives in southern Indiana, where she spends
most of her time daydreaming about fictional lives and/or thinking
about wool.

Glimpses Series Book 1
by
Lee Ann Ward
Genre:

nightmares about my dad’s car crashing or my sister’s tiny face
vanishing in a window of red. No, not anymore. Now when I sleep I
fall into an expanse of frozen wilderness, the other life I’ve

The
one I’ve lived with him.

Anna
experiences vivid dreams from a past-life she lived in the 1800s with
her husband Robert and their children in the wilderness of the
Michigan Territory. Much like her own mother grieving the man and
child she lost, Anna can’t simply let go of the memories that haunt
her.

But
when she runs into Robert in this lifetime, a whirlwind of their past
lives—and deaths—rocks her modern world to the core. What will
she be willing to risk to spend every lifetime with Robert?

In
the twists and turns of “repeating” their lives over and over
through time, Anna must sacrifice everything for a glimpse of
immortal love.

Inn
the Spirit of Legends
Spirits
of Texas Book 1
by
Becki Willis
Genre: Paranormal Cozy Mystery

From
the author of
The
Sisters, Texas Mystery Series
 and Forgotten
Boxes
,
comes an intriguing new book series, the
Spirits
of Texas Cozy Mysteries.

When
the tiny hamlet of Hannah, Texas goes up for auction, Hannah Duncan’s
fun-loving uncle sees it as the perfect gift for her thirtieth
birthday. After all, what’s more fun than a town bearing your own
name?
Nestled
in the beautiful Texas Hill Country, the ‘town’ isn’t much –
a dozen or less buildings in various stages of disrepair-but it
comes with a dedicated pair of caretakers, a menagerie of farm
animals, a surprisingly generous trust fund, enough stipulations to
make her head spin, and a handsome but maddening attorney to oversee
the handling of the estate.
Originally
a stagecoach stop, Hannah, Texas resolves around the historic and
rather charming Spirits of Texas Inn. The old inn
comes with a colorful past, the mystique of hidden treasure, loyal
guests who still book summer vacations there, and three surprise
residents: true spirits of the past, who didn’t cross over as
expected.
Now
Hannah has her hands full, coming to terms with her unexpected status
as an innkeeper, adjusting to life in the country, fighting her
attraction to attorney Walker Jacoby, plus dealing
with ghosts!
To
top it off, two fortune hunters arrive to search for the hidden
treasure, and they don’t care who stands in their way. They’ll
stoop to any means-including murder-to get their hands on the
legendary stash of gold.
Don’t
miss out on the excitement, right from the beginning. Book your visit
to Hannah, Texas today!
