Love
in the City Book 4
by
J.M. Bronston
Genre:
Contemporary Romance

Marge
Webster has always known what she wanted, and how to accomplish it.
As editor-in-chief of
Lady
Fair
 magazine,
she’s got influence and fame, a social calendar as packed as her
closet, and a gorgeous attorney boyfriend. Jerry is successful,
loving, and ready to settle down. As for Marge—she just feels
exhausted. Maybe that explains her weak knees and fluttering
heartbeat when she runs into Sam Packard, her high-school
crush.

Back
then, Sam was the most popular and charismatic guy around. He didn’t
always understand Marge’s dreams, but their connection was
undeniable. Marge isn’t that awestruck girl anymore—but for the
first time in her life, she has no idea which path to follow. Maybe
the answer is to step back, take a doctor-ordered European vacation,
and explore exactly what and who makes her happy. The answers might
surprise everyone—especially Marge…

Blessed
Be
The
Summer Sisters Book 1
by
Teresa Keefer
Genre:
Paranormal Romance

Alana
Summers was quite content with her life. A peaceful farm tucked in a
wooded area by the lake with her pets for company. A shop in the
small tourist town where she sells a potpourri of items that reflect
everything about her. She’s at peace. She’s Wiccan.

Logan
Farmer is the local sheriff. Small town boy who went to the big city
and joined the police force. Then he came home where he belonged. He
is deeply rooted in his Native American heritage.

Both
had grown up knowing that there was more to the world that could be
explained or seen. But neither of them knew that their peaceful lives
could be disrupted in an instant by a legend long buried. A tale that
had been told to them by Logan’s grandmother when they were young
along with a warning that the ancient legend could replay during
their lifetime.

But
was it really an ancient paranormal evil come to roost or were the
recent events merely the doings of a warped human mind? Or had the
human’s events shaped the return of the evil?

with banishing an ancient evil that had come to pay a visit to the
sleepy town. Then, she was faced with another woman whose secret
wasn’t so secret anymore.

Devon
Brock knew he had to help his friend, Logan Farmer. Logan had helped
him out too many times to turn his back and say no. However, he
didn’t realize that he would be called upon to pull out his law
license to defend a poor woman who had killed and mutilated her
husband on Halloween night. And he sure never expected to have to
deal with spoiled Teagan Summers as part of it.

Devon
and Teagan join forces as they work valiantly to not only defend a
murderess, but to help Teagan’s sisters and Logan Farmer as they
battle an unseen evil that threatens to destroy the small town of
Lakewood. And as they work together, they also form a tentative truce
that they both know could lead to more.

MURDER IN THISTLECROSS
by
Amy M. Reade
Genre: Mystery/Thriller

The emerald hills and violet valleys of
Wales seem the ideal place to start over after murder-and
divorce-shattered Eilidh’s life in the Scottish Highlands. But
within the stone walls of an ancient castle, a family’s dark,
violent past threatens much more than her newfound tranquility . . .
For the past two years, Eilidh has
called the quaint Welsh village of Thistlecross home, embracing her
new life as estate manager of a restored fifteenth-century castle.
But the long-anticipated arrival of her employer’s three estranged
sons and their wives transforms Gylfinog Castell from a welcoming
haven to a place seething with dangerous secrets. When the escalating
tensions culminate in murder, Eilidh must sift through a castle full
of suspects both upstairs and downstairs. She can trust no one as she
follows a twisting maze of greed and malice to ferret out a killer
who’s breaching every defense, preparing to make Eilidh the next to
die.

After she divorce her jailed husband, Eilidh has a great job as the person in charge of a castle and becomes friends with the owner. For two years things go well for all involved, until Annabel invites her three sons and their wives for a visit. Annabel thinks she can amend for the lack of protection she gave her sons under the brutal abuse they received from their father. Instead her favorite son is murdered and she dies just days later.

Murder in Thistlecross, by Amy M. Reade is a great story with twists and predictions alike. It is well done and will be good reading for those who enjoy murder mysteries with a light romance. I enjoyed the journey and the ending of this tale, as it takes us through what happens after the murders are resolved.  It makes a nice summer read or is great to  curl up with by the fire.

WHO
DO YOU LOVE

by
J.M. Bronston
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Pub. Date: 12/26/2017

Aspiring journalist Eugenia Shaw is thrilled to
be doing her first story for Lady Fair magazine, covering New
York’s famous Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show. The last thing she
expects is to fall in love—with a quirky looking Chinese Crested
named Sweetie Pie. Or with the fellow dog lover she keeps
accidentally-on-purpose running into in Central Park . . .

Unlike Jennie’s judgy live-in boyfriend, Paul
is a man who appreciates Sweetie Pie’s unconventional beauty. And
the better they get to know each other, the more it feels like he
appreciates Jennie too. Soon she can’t help noticing how much
happier and more confident she is when they’re together, or how
Paul encourages her writing. He’s even inspired her to pitch a
brand new story to Lady Fair. But will she be brave enough to
rewrite her own next chapter? . . .
