How long have you been writing?

I wrote my first piece of fiction in ninth grade, so (yikes!) over forty years.

:) Tell us where you were born and where do you live now.

I was born in northeastern New Jersey, where I spent most of my life. I moved to Richmond, VA in 2002. I love both places, but NJ just got too crowded and too expensive. Richmond has a great atmosphere for artists, particularly for younger ones. We have a great music scene as well.

It sounds perfect for you. How do you know the idea is good enough to write a book about it? (more…)
