My Review: 5 stars
Where Shadows Dwell Book 1 by Author Juliannne Kelsch is a murder-mystery-romance with abuse. I enjoyed this story all the way to the end. It is a sweet romance that includes a mystery, many bodies, and two people who are trying to make it through life with their hearts and their bodies intact.
As fate would have it, they find each other under the most interesting circumstances. However, they both have to trust in each other before they can let their hearts be healed by the love from the other.
But what can you do when the twists keep making you break up? Read this book and find out.
The characters in this story are lovable, at least all the ones you should love; and hateful all the ones that should be hated. This entire story will keep you interested to the end, and leave you feeling warm and cozy.
This is a refreshingly clean book with violence, not to descriptive or gory. I would recommend it to adults and young adults alike. It will help you define rules that you should live your life by if you have common sense. It’s not preachy, but teaches good morals; a thing that should never be out of fashion. What a great job, read away.
I received a copy of the book from Loving The Book in exchange for an honest review.
HUNTING FOR HAPPENSTANCE by Cindy A. Christiansen is a mystery romance, well done and interesting. I enjoyed the rugged feeling to the tale and the candid love story.
Daniela Strada’s uncle disappears and she gets Duston Cooper, the gun shop owner, to take her in a trip that will have both out of breath and frustrated by the end. Dustin believes that he is like his brother who almost killed his ex-wife in a rage, and that thought keeps him away from her. Can she survive the cold treatment she receives from Duston and the thugs who have her uncle? Will Daniela and Duston find a way to become that which both are meant to be, or will their dreams never come to pass?
Once again Cindy A. Christiansen has included dogs in her book, and once again they have a heroes’ part in this great tale. It is fun to learn more about different races of four-legged companions and the love their human companions have for them. HUNTING FOR HAPPENSTANCE is a very clean romance that will keep you turning the pages to the end.
Cindy A. Christiansen writes sweet romance with humor, suspense…and dogs! With over thirty health issues and two autistic children, she struggles to write but finds it cathartic. She loves going where only her characters can take her. She loves dogs and always includes them in her books and features them on her covers. She donates time and money to organizations that help abused and abandoned dogs.
