Tell us where you were born:

Provo, Utah

What is the most difficult thing about being an author?

The most difficult thing about being an author is making a living. We write books because we have a passion and not to get rich or famous. In my past, I worked as an investment banker and have earned a good living. Now that I am working full time as an author, new-media journalist and speaker, I’m working twice as hard for less money–but I’ve never been happier.

Who has made the greatest difference for you as a writer?

Everything good that I’ve ever read has inspired me to write, to write better, to write more, but the greatest difference maker for me has been a supportive spouse. Gail (my wife of 27 years) is the key to my success.

Who or What inspired you to write this book?

This book is written to help ordinary families make more sense of their finances to enable them to do the good in the world that they seek to do. People of ordinary means really can make a difference in the world.

What is the name of your new book?

925 Ideas to Help You Save Money, Get Out of Debt and Retire A Millionaire So You Can Leave Your Mark on the World

Tell us more about it.

925 Ideas… is a guide to helping families succeed financially. Shortly after I wrote the book, a young mother approached me to say that the book had saved her marriage by giving her and her husband a common language and way to think about money. Together they developed a financial plan, drawing on the principles in the book, and moved forward together.

What genre does your book fall under?

While it is generally considered nonfiction, retirement planning, I think of it is a self-empowerment resource.

What other books would you compared to?

It could be compared with Suze Orman’s book, The 9 Steps to Financial Freedom: Practical and Spiritual Steps So You Can Stop Worrying.

What kind of impact do you expect your works to have in the reader’s lives?

Readers say that the book enables them to understand and manage money better. My goal is that this enables them to do the good in the world that they want to do so they don’t feel limited by money, especially debt!

Is your book self-published or represented by an agency?

Self published. It has been downloaded nearly one million times.

That is awesome. Where can we find your book?

Thank you so much!

Tony Kent is a great believer in self-education and personal growth, he has spent a considerable amount of time and income to learn from leaders in marketing, sales, and personal growth. It is from this view that he has written this book. He wants to share all his years of learning with the reader, so they can benefit from them. I found the book to be well written and easy enough to follow. The author wants to teach us the process of how to totally transform our lives and, as bi-product, help create wealth.

He believes in positive thinking and how everything you do will (more…)

The Upside of Down Times – a review

This is a sensible book that will change your mind with its theme of gratefulness, and how the reader will see him/herself and the happiness of his/her future. In this book you will find gratefulness for self, health, children, others, wealth, and in your business. I have practiced positivity and gratefulness for some years now and I have found out first hand that it does change your attitude and the way you see yourself every day. This is a self-development book that will open your eyes to all that is there and, even more, how to become what you are meant to be…a successful member of society. It will show you how to inspire others by your example.

In an era when many feel that everyone owes them something, gratitude isn’t found in our minds or hearts. In this book you will find many reason why we should be thankful more often. As the author says, “Harnessing (more…)

3 off the Tee: No Excuses The Fit Mind-Fit Body Strategy Book by Lorii Myers A review for

Lorii Myers compares life to the game of golf and gets away with it. If you like golf you will understand the metaphor to life quite fine. However if you don’t, you can still understand the part about life. It is a great book I believe that many people will find it an inspiration to change and better their lives. This book will motivate you to desire to become fit and wholesome. You will find in this book step by step the different things you need to do and how to do them. You are the only boss and it will depend on you what kind of results you get.

Here is a bit of the book, Everyone faces challenges in their day-to-day lives. But the defining moments of how successful you may be in life, both personally and professionally, lie in how you work through the process of , and ultimately dealing with all the inevitable hazards that life throws in your path.

By this example you can see that this book has great motivation and speak the true so you know where she is coming from. It will show you how to improve your life and future by fallowing the ideas house in this book. All you have to do is work on it one at the time and see what gives you the best results. Resilience is self-manufactured over time by working through your problems and never giving up, even in the face of difficulty or failure. That is what will make you a winner with this self-help book. For adults specially, but not necesary those who like golf.
