Beautiful place. What is the most difficult thing about being an author?
Taking time to market books!
Amen to that, my friend. Who has made the greatest difference for you as a writer?
Having time to write and getting my first publishing contract. (Reviews are a great help too!)
Great! Who or What inspired you to write this book?
It came to me after I’d visited many schools and observed no curriculum on earning a living.
How interesting… What is the name of your new book?
The Bridge of the Golden Wood: A Parable on How to Earn Money
Intriguing… Tell us more about it.
A child with a knack for solving problems helps some hungry fish and finds a treasure. Illustrated folk tale teaches the value of work and comes with money-making activities; ideas for businesses; and online resources (for ages 5 and up). 8.5″x8.5″, 26 pages, 530 words. I did some of the illustrations too.
Wow, that sounds awesome. What genre does your book fall under?
I’m marketing it to children, but I’m also going to put it under business books.
Here are my thoughts about the book
Review:
What an entertaining bookThe Bridge of the Golden Wood: A Parable on How to Earn Money is entertaining and educative at the same time. The story of a kids who help a fish, is a great idea to teach children how to earn money. I remember when I was young, and even just barely married, how much stress I had trying to find ideas of how to make extra money for our small family. In this book, you will find great ideas and all your children need to get into an entrepreneurial mindset. It will help you to teach your children the value of money and hard work. It will also guide your children to ask more questions and start thinking in a more down to earth manner. Most kids don’t know how to use their money or lack ideas and motivations to find and do something real to better themselves and their future. This book will help with this task. I think that it will be a great fit for all kids from a young age to adults alike. They are many adults who have no idea what to do with their future either, and this book will give them a little taste of reality. Great job Karl Beckstrand.
