Miss
Demeanor P.I. Book 1
by
Joanne Jaytanie
Genre:
Romantic Suspense, Mystery, Adventure

Rivers
don’t let rocks hold them back. River Nightingale has decided to
blow past the rocky men in her life.

She’s
played by the rules for too long—especially when it came to her
career as a cop. She was the top closer of cases for years, but
promotions in her small town cop shop went to her less productive
male counterparts. River decides it’s time to change careers. She
leaves her small town to purchase a Seattle private detective agency
and become her own boss.

Homicide
Detective Gage Hamlin takes pride in his job; he closes cases and
fosters justice. All that changed the day River Nightingale sauntered
into his office. River has him questioning his pride, his cases, and
his aversion to private detectives, especially beautiful private
detectives.

River’s
client thinks Gage got it wrong, and River is forced to prove Gage
missed a murder. Will River and Gage find a way to play nice, or will
River be forced to leave Gage behind?

Twice
As Bad
Miss
Demeanor, P.I. Book 2

For
private investigator River Nightingale, the stakes are high, and her
losses are twice as bad.

River
has already lost a partner to a better job, and now a truck has mowed
down another partner and a key informant. Her surviving crew is
reeling and dead set on finding the killer. Working with them is a
Seattle PD homicide detective, Gage Hamlin. Gage and River have been
a volatile combination since day one, but now it’s twice as tense,
as they both seek the killer and Gage struggles to keep River
alive.

On
the waterfront, Seattle is known for slinging fish, but River’s
stakeout of a seafood plant reveals that fish aren’t the only thing
being sold on the docks. And if River isn’t careful, fish aren’t
the only thing that will end up dead on the docks.

Looming
dangers lurk closer with every clue River uncovers. River’s
business, her relationship, her friends, and her life are all in
jeopardy. And the cost of solving the case is at least twice as bad
as usual.

Drafted as a doughboy in the Meuse-Argonne Campaign

Monday, November 13th, 2017

Joshua Henry Bates, a young teacher of a country school, wonders if there will be more to his life. Yes, there are summers away from the farm, attending the University of Utah, dancing at Saltair, watching pictures shows, and eating ice cream on bone dry days. In his journal he questions his future. He finds a young woman to love, but she is an ever-mutating mystery. His job seems to be a dead-end. His parents need his help more all the time. Josh tries to change his life: cooling the relationship with his girlfriend, teaching in a new school, and registering for service in the American Expeditionary Forces. Still, Joshua is filled with self-doubt. Will Josh marry the girl? Will he find a dazzling life mission? Will he be victorious in war? Each chapter contains one to thirty primary sources from the life of this young man drafted as a doughboy in the Meuse-Argonne Campaign.
 Praise for the book:

DESPERATE
BRIDE
by
A.S. Fenichel

Genre: Historical Romance

Pub
Date: 9/26/2017

An
unexpected promise . . . an everlasting passion.
An
accomplished musician, Dorothea Flammel has refused more proposals
than any London debutante; her only true love is her music. Dory’s
shimmering talent and beauty have long been adored from afar by
Thomas Wheel, an untitled gentleman who can only dream of asking for
the hand of a nobleman’s daughter. But when her father, the
insolvent Lord Flammel, arranges for Dory to marry a lecherous Earl
in order to pay off a debt, she runs to Thomas—and proposes
marriage to him.
Eloping
to Scotland saves Dory from a disastrous fate, but what is for her a
mere marriage of convenience proves more passionate—and more
complex—than either imagined as rumors, scandal, and buried
emotions come to light. And when a vengeful challenge from a drunken
and embittered Lord Flammel puts Thomas’s life on the line, will
the fragile trust between husband and wife be enough to save them
both?

A.S.
Fenichel
adores
writing stories filled with love, passion, desire, magic and maybe a
little mayhem tossed in for good measure. Books have always been her
perfect escape and she still relishes diving into one and staying up
all night to finish a good story. Originally from New York, she grew
up in New Jersey. She now lives in the southwest with her real life
hero, her wonderful husband. When she is not reading or writing she
enjoys cooking, travel, history and puttering in her garden.

LADY
BE GOOD
by
Heather Hiestand
Genre: Historical Romance
Pub
Date: 9/5/2017

When
exiled royalty and espionage combine, expect a romance as bold as the
1920s . . .
Olga
Novikov is a princess without a throne. Her fiancé and her family
slain in the revolution, she flees Russia and finds herself working
as the head of housekeeping at London’s luxurious Grand Russe
Hotel. It’s a far cry from the glamour of her former life, but
she’s grateful for the job—until a guest forces her to question
where her loyalty lies. The charming nobleman challenges her at every
turn—and arouses dreams of romance she thought she’d abandoned
forever . . .
Douglas
“Glass” Childers is living a double life. On the surface, he’s
the indolent Viscount Walling, but in truth he’s an intelligence
agent searching for a Bolshevik weapons master. The coolly beautiful
and headstrong housekeeper is a distraction he doesn’t need—unless
she’s the key piece in the puzzle he must solve. Trusting her could
be dangerous—but loving her is an undeniable temptation . . .

Heather
Hiestand was born in Illinois but her family migrated west before she
started school. Since then she has claimed Washington State as home,
except for a few years in California. She wrote her first story at
age seven and went on to major in creative writing at the University
of Washington. Her first published fiction was a mystery short story,
but since then it has been all about the many flavors of romance.
Heather’s first published romance short story was set in the
Victorian period and she continues to return, fascinated by the rapid
changes of the nineteenth century. The author of many novels,
novellas and short stories, she makes her home in a small town with
her husband and son and supposedly works out of her tiny office,
though she mostly writes in her easy chair in the living room.

Indigo Traveler a Mythical book by Merri Halma an interview

Monday, May 5th, 2014

Merri  what is the name of your new book?

51i2AigPUWL._BO2,204,203,200_PIsitb-sticker-v3-big,TopRight,0,-55_SX278_SY278_PIkin4,BottomRight,1,22_AA300_SH20_OU01_

The name of my book is Indigo Traveler

Interesting. What genre does your book fall under?

It is a fantasy. I prefer to call it a Spiritual Fantasy because my characters are seeking to find the spirit within themselves as well as the spiritual outside of them. In turn, they are encouraged to see the spirit within others. It doesn’t prescribe to any one faith, but an universal spiritual perspective which I hope others will be able to relate to.

Mythical story

Tell us where you were born

New Islip, Long Island, New York, but was raised in (more…)

Ilyan Kei Lavanway his book is An Aviator At Heart.

Tuesday, April 8th, 2014
  • How long have you been writing?

I have been writing since 2005

Tell us where you were born and where you live now.

I was born in Washington State. I currently live in Florida.

Nice place to live. How do you know the idea is good enough to write a book about it?

If an idea remains in my mind and heart longer than a few days, I add it to my list of concepts to be developed into books. I have far more ideas in my personal queue than I have time to develop into completed books, so I work on the ones I feel are most urgent for me to express. I believe inspiration from God has some role in that.

It really does. Who has made the greatest difference for you as a writer?
